Lisa Blonquist

 

Lisa’s dance experience started in Concord, California with Lee Salisbury Ballet Company at the age of 6. She later danced with Chris Lambert Ballet Studio in Clayton, California where she performed in lead roles in the Wizard of Oz and Nutcracker. In addition to ballet, she studied contemporary and performed with her high school songleading team. 

 

After high school she attended Brigham Young University in Provo and graduated with a bachelors of art degree in dance education where she studied modern, ballet, improvisation, as well as creative dance. She performed with Impulse dance company with director Les Ditson as well as performed with BYU Folk Dancers. She minored in Spanish. 

 

Lisa has taught creative dance classes for community education. She is currently a substitute teacher in the Nebo School District. In her spare time, you can find her teaching zumba or doing family history research on ancestry.com and familysearch.com. She is married and has 5 amazing children, one amazing daughter-in-law and a very cute miniature poodle named Millie. She is excited to be a part of the Lifehouse team.
