About Lifehouse Fireside Performances
Each year Lifehouse produces a fireside production that allows company students to share principles of truth through movement. The shows are centered on a theme that seeks to inspire the performer and audience to explore truth and to understand their own humanity better. The performance utilizes video production, the spoken word, music and dance in an effort to uplift, teach and edify.
Dancing has provided me some of the most powerful and transforming experiences of my life. I had the opportunity while performing with Deseret Dance Theater to share the deepest feelings of my heart and principles that I felt were true through movement. It allowed me to use my body, mind and soul to express who I was as a person and what I believed. In the process, I was changed for good. I wanted to try to provide my students the same opportunity.
