Cassandra Severson

Cassandra is from Santa Clarita, California. When she was 6 years old, she started her dance training in tap, jazz, and ballet at Dance Studio 84. She competed in numerous Los Angeles based competitions and performed in many recitals and shows, including The Nutcracker. After graduating from High School, Cassandra moved up to Provo, Utah to attend Brigham Young University. Before graduating from BYU with a B.S. in School Health Education, she continued her tap dance training, assistant taught a few tap classes, and taught a summer tap class at BYU. She was also a member of BYU’s Foot Poetry Club and performed in many shows, including BYU’s World of Dance in 2011, BYU’s Homecoming Spectacular in 2013, and multiple Percussive Footwork shows at the Covey Center.

Cassandra is married with two kids. Together they enjoy being outside hiking, rock climbing, and paddle boarding. Cassandra started teaching at Lifehouse in 2014 and after a short hiatus due to out of states moves, she is ecstatic to be returning!
