Shana Engh

Shana has been involved with Musical Theater for 30 years. She has had many different roles in the theater: actor, dancer, singer, stage manager, backstage manager, sound tech, light tech, spotlight, stage crew etc…

She found a love for Musical Theater, helping with “Oliver” with Riverton Arts Council in 1996. She was just doing stage crew and then the next show she ended up on stage and hasn’t looked back. She was more involved with the technical side of Musical Theater. She went to SLCC on a Theater Scholarship, where she received an Associate of Science with an emphasis on Technical Theater. She has worked in many different theaters around SLC: The Grand Theater, Egyptian in Park City, MAC, the Pearl Awards and others. She started directing musicals in 2017. She is involved with Saratoga Springs Youth Summer Theater Camp, she has taken over the program and directed “Newsies Jr.” this year. She has been involved for 7 years now. She looks forward to many more years in theater.

Shana is excited to share her love of theater with others.  The best part about theater is it’s always changing and we are all learning together. Theater is a place of acceptance and we can all be who we are, and create wonderful memories and shows.

Shana and her husband, Bradley, have lived in Saratoga Springs for 21 years. They have 3 wonderful children, Aelita, Gabe and Alice. Shana has worked at Kohl’s for 15 years and almost a year at Vista Heights Middle School as a Student Advocate. She enjoys reading, hanging outside in their amazing backyard, hanging with friends, eating out and supporting her kids in all the things they love – Marching band, band, dance, soccer, baseball and shows. Shana’s favorite show is “Pirates of Penzance”.
