These once a week classes are for students ages 3-4 just beginning their journey in the art of dance. Three-year-old classes are 50 minutes in length; four-year-old classes are one hour.
Classes are structured the same as a traditional ballet class with a warm-up, center barre, and across the floor activities. Throughout the class, children explore monthly objectives such as music, movement concepts, class etiquette, and they participate in a free dance activity at the end of each class. The curriculum for this age group focuses on building muscle strength, coordination, rhythm, musicality, body awareness, class etiquette and self-expression.
The age cut-off for classes is October 1, 2025. For example, if your child will be turning four on September 15, 2025, they should register for the four-year-old class.

UNIFORM
All preschool students will wear a class uniform that is a specific leotard and tights. Cost for purchase will be $25 and will be due upon pickup. Preschool students dance in bare feet. Combo students will need pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes. Hair pulled away from the face.

o February 9-13 Covey Center for the Arts (tech rehearsal February 9-11, performances February 12-13)
o For Preschool, Kindergarten, Combo, Musical Theater and Hip-Hop students. Company students may opt-in to participate.
- Lifehouse Children’s Production “12 Dancing Princesses”
o June 6, Covey Center for the Arts (Tech/Dress rehearsals June 3-5)
o For Preschool, Kindergarten, Combo, Open Ballet, Open Jazz and Hip-Hop students.
INVESTMENT
TUITION
3-Year-Old Classes $42.00 a month
4-Year-Old Classes $52.00 a month
Half tuition for August and June, full tuition for September-May.
ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE
A yearly $20 registration fee is required to enroll each student. There is a $50 maximum registration fee per family. (For students enrolled in summer, you have already been charged the registration fee.) Registration fee is non-refundable.
COSTUME FEE
Students will have between 2-5 costumes depending on their level and number of performances. The purchase price of costumes is between $65-$150. Whenever possible, we will rent costumes to keep costs down for parents. Costume rental fees are $35-$40. A non-refundable deposit of $35-$150 is required. See the class descriptions on the website for the exact amount of the deposit. Open class costume deposits are due upon enrollment. The costume deposit for company students and musical theater students will be due on October 1. The deposit will be credited toward costume fees for the year. Final costume payments are due April 1 for any remaining amount due.
RECITAL FEE
There will be a $30 recital fee per family per performance. Each ticket will cost $8 plus a small handling fee by the ticket venue. Recital fees are due by February 1, 2026. You will be sent an email as a reminder in January.
