Salem Summer Class Information
Summer Classes
We offer weekly Summer Classes at Lifehouse Performing Arts Academy Herriman & Salem. Summer classes are open to all! We offer ballet, jazz, tap, movement, and pointe. Students interested in participating in a company for the 2022-2023 season are required to register for summer classes.
When?
June 20-July 30, 2022
How?
Register online, starting May 1. For existing students, your summer class schedule will be based on your company placement from the previous year. New students, 4th grade and older, should contact the studio for recommended placement.
Why?
Dancing with a Lifehouse company is for students who have the desire to excel. Completely taking two months off of training puts dancers at a clear disadvantage. Not only do they miss valuable instruction, they also have to spend the first six weeks of fall gaining back lost strength and flexibility. Summer classes also allow us to watch students for an extended period to better place them in the proper fall class.
Tuition
Full tuition, due July 1, is calculated by the number of class hours per week, multiplied by the number of weeks of summer classes. Makeup classes are encouraged, and are included in the full tuition.
If you will be traveling in the summer, you may also pay by the week. You must email the studio with the dates you will be gone, before summer classes begin to get the discount. It is not retroactive. lifehouseacademyinfo@gmail.com
Registration fee $20 or $50 maximum per family. Non-refundable. Due upon enrollment.
This reserves your spot for summer classes and/or summer camp and guarantees you a spot for the fall. You must pay it online when you register or your registration will be dropped and your spot will be made available for someone else.
Tuition Amount for Summer
Tuition for summer is based on the number of hours students take class each week. The tuition amount listed below is for the entire six-week summer session. Weekly rates are slightly higher than a true prorated rate and are listed on the class schedule links.

Below are the classes available this summer. The class name is a link that you click on to view summer class schedule. Students who are new to the studio and are entering the 4th grade should email or call for class recommendation prior to enrollment.
Summer Intensive, Workshops, and Camp
Lifehouse will be offering several camps and workshops in addition to the weekly summer classes. Below are links with detailed information.

Auditions for Lifehouse 2022-23 Companies
- An audition for Dance Companies and Musical Theater Companies will be held Friday, July 15, between the hours of 9 am-5 pm. It is a good experience for students to learn the art of auditioning as it is a part of the dance world. Students will showcase what they have been working on all summer. After the audition, class placement for the next season will be determined. As always, our goal is to place dancers where they can grow and progress to their potential.
