Leah Sherman
Leah Sherman was raised in Springville, Utah alongside one older brother. She developed a love for the performing arts very young, which has continued to grow alongside her. Lucky enough to have a mother with the same interests, Leah has spent her whole life wrapped in plays and wonderful music. She began her dance journey with Lifehouse Performing Arts Academy at the age of 9, and received training in ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, and tap. Over the past decade at Lifehouse, Leah has grown as both a dancer and person with the help of many supportive teachers and peers. During her freshman year of high school, she was asked to choreograph for Springville High School’s production of The Phantom of the Opera and fell in love with dance all over again. She became a member of the Springville High School Dance Company and continued to work with the theater department on Footloose, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Mama Mia. Following her graduation, she began assisting fellow instructors at Lifehouse in combination with independent teaching. Leah’s other passions include singing, painting, video games, and spending quality time with her two cats and wonderful husband.
