I do not dance to seek the praise of others. I seek to find the power within me.

I am not focused on the validation of others when I dance.  Their opinion of me does not affect my intrinsic worth.  I do not make decisions in life based on others thinking well of me.  I base my decisions on the kind of person I want to be and having personal integrity.  What matters when I dance is that I can respect myself, the work that I put in, and what I feel in my heart.
