Early Childhood Dance

At Lifehouse we care about each child that walks through the doors. We work diligently to foster each child’s physical, mental and emotional growth, in a fun and creative environment.

About our Early Childhood Dance Program

We are certified and trained to follow Leap ‘N Learn; a progressive dance curriculum tailored to the growing child. Designed by master teacher Beverly Spell and expert child psychologist Dr. Annie Spell, the curriculum combines the healthiest practices for teaching children ballet technique, while simultaneously encouraging pretend play amongst the youngest students to maintain a positive and nurturing environment.

Our little dancers are separated by age, so that each class is designed to honor that specific stage in a child’s development. Our structured, early childhood curriculum helps your child acquire motor, cognitive and social skills beneficial for later life roles, including that of a more advanced dancer.

I have had the honor of working with Lifehouse Performing Arts Academy Since 2013.  Nesha Woodhouse, her team of educators, and Leap ‘n Learn share the same vision of using dance as a tool to teach the whole child.  The dancers of Lifehouse are respectful, well-trained, creative, and have excellent work ethic, all values that will help them succeed in life.  I highly recommend Lifehouse Performing Arts.
